All 720+ cookies were assembled in just 2 days with several helpers. Of course, it excludes the hours I have spent on making the cookies and the sugar pieces.

Wedding Cookie Favours - Final

This post refers to my previous posting - 結婚曲奇回禮 - 前奏

Created two designs for the wedding cookie favours - one has two cherry blossoms with initials and the other has the double-happiness symbol. All made in sugar.

I don't know how many people have actually tasted them or taken them home. Many people are not familiar with sugar arts & fondants in Hong Kong, and I think that's very true.

Happy to make more cute cookies again.....I realized I haven't made any for a few weeks due to time constrain....

Gum Paste Flowers - Advanced

These are the flowers I have made lately. They are more advanced than those ones I have before.

So, I spent lots of hours making these leaves & petals...the leaves are so tiny & easy to break....after that, I was fed up with making more leaves!!!

I brushed this Cattleya Orchid into yellow with a bit of pink.

Finally, I finished putting all the flowers & leaves together. They don't look too bad after tapping & dusting...but it did take a lot of time to do....

Pic1: Cattleya Orchids (洋蘭),  Jasmine 茉莉花& Jasmine buds (茉莉花蕾) & Jasmine leaves(茉莉花葉), and Ivy leaves (常春藤)

 

Pic2: Smiliar to Pic 1 except the colour of Cattleya Orchid is yellow.

做個的葉真係做到怕怕啦...不同sizes 要不同wires.....又易爛
